I am an experienced Raynor massage therapist, qualified from the Brandon Raynor School of Natural Therapies.

Raynor massage is a deep tissue therapeutic massage aimed at finding and removing physical and emotional tension from the body and mind.
​
Raynor massage has evolved from a combination of different styles including Therapeutic Massage, Deep Tissue, Acupressure, Ayurvedic, Swedish and Reflexology. We believe the body works as a whole and therefore tightness in one area may be caused by tension in another part of the body. By recognising this we are able to find the source of residual tightness or blockage in the body and work with you to get rid of it.

We also recognise that tension in the body can be linked to emotional stress and so we work within the body's energy paths to help remove emotional blockages, encouraging clients to practice deep breathing through the session to help with this.
​
As well as being an ideal solution to muscle tension, sciatica and sports injuries, massage is an effective preventative measure for injuries and tension, supporting:

Each new client will have an initial consultation so that I can give you a personalised, effective treatment in a comfortable and calm environment.

My goal is to work with you to effectively relieve muscle tightness in areas of the body for longer term relief.

RAYNOR MASSAGE
PREGNANCY AND POSTNATAL MASSAGE
A style of deep tissue therapeutic massage which works on a more effective, deeper level than traditional sports massage by finding the source of tension and removing it, providing longer lasting relief.
​
Used to treat sports injuries, sciatica, muscle tension. Incorporates stretching where appropriate.
​
Can be focused on a particular area or issue, or full body for general tension relief.
​
Suitable for all clients.
​Massage is extremely beneficial to expectant mothers, helping to remove pain and tension in the lower back and hips, and improving circulation in the lower legs and feet.
Post-birth, massage can help to aid mental and physical recovery. As well as promoting relaxation, massage can help to relieve muscle tension and aches from pregnancy recovery, lifting, holding and feeding baby.
Each pregnancy / postnatal massage is individual and suited to your specific needs, incorporating different techniques where appropriate, and ensuring you are in a comfortable position for the duration of your massage. Essential oils can be used for relaxation.
REFLEXOLOGY
INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE
Reflexology techniques for the hands, feet and head are incorporated into my massage sessions where appropriate.

Reflexology involves simulating points found in the hands and feet for overall wellbeing.
​
Sessions include arm and lower leg massage for increased relaxation.​

A deeply relaxing treatment focused on the head, neck, upper back / shoulders and face (optional)/​

Relieves stress, tension, and promotes overall well-being.​

Suitable for all clients and can be included as part of another treatment.
